‘Childhood Friends, Still Standing’
Sheila and Isa, childhood neighbours who lived through the Clydebank Blitz together, reunited in their 90’s in front of the Victorian crane ‘The Clydebank Titan’.

‘Gala Queen Again – Sheila’
Sheila was once a Gala Queen at the local factory’s annual gala – we decided to recreate the look, in the area which had once been docklands but was flattened in the Clydebank Blitz.

Isa was once a Gala Queen at the local factory’s annual gala – we decided to recreate the look, in the area which had once been docklands but was flattened in the Clydebank Blitz.
Solidarity Plaza commemorates the more than 500 people killed in the Clydebank Blitz in 1941. The stitched border of poppies is a symbol of peace, resilience, remembrance and overcoming across many cultures. Tatreez is traditional Palestinian embroidery and the motif is designed by Tatreez studio.
